DIRWA PRIVACY POLICY – UPDATED IN JANUARY 2019
DiRWA takes its data privacy responsibilities seriously. This privacy policy explains what personal information DiRWA collects about clients, partners, vendors and marketing contacts, and how we use it.
If you have questions about this privacy policy or about how we use your information, contact info@dirwa.com.
WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES DIRWA HAVE IN ITS POSSESSION?
We may collect and process your name, email address, work information, telephone number and the data you have provided to us. Personal information may be collected through sales inquiries, marketing events and downloads, and use of DiRWA’s and third-parties’ websites and portal.
HOW IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION USED?
If you are a client or partner, your personal information will be used for managing contracts, sales management, access to the DiRWA portal and product updates. We will also use your personal information to respond to your product support requests. This will allow us to meet our contractual obligations to you and support our business relationship with you.
We may also use your personal information for marketing purposes if we have your consent or a legitimate interest to do so. It is possible that, from time to time, we may contact you to keep you informed about our products and services, special offers, events or products and services from our partners. You may opt out of the marketing emails at any time. We may also pass your personal information on to Digital Exchange asset vendors for the assets you have accessed for marketing purposes if you have given your express consent.
If you provide us with your personal information using one of our website forms, we will keep this information to track whether you return to visit the DiRWA website, and to follow up with you if you ask DiRWA to do so. We may also collect information about the use of the DiRWA website, such as types of information accessed and the daily number of users we receive. DiRWA may use this data for statistical and marketing analysis or similar promotional purposes.
IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION SHARED WITH THIRD PARTIES?
We may share your personal information with other DiRWA companies. The details of the DiRWA companies may be found on the main page of our website.
When another DiRWA company processes your information, they will apply the same principles as this policy. If you wish to obtain further information about our vendors and their privacy polices, contact us at info@dirwa.com.
If DiRWA needs to transfer your personal data to a third party, we will make sure that your personal information is properly protected through the means approved by our oversight authority.
AM I ABLE TO FIND OUT WHAT INFORMATION DIRWA HAS ABOUT ME?
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information that DiRWA has about you in its possession and to correct any inaccuracy. You also have the right to have your personal information deleted from our marketing database if you no longer wish to receive marketing communications. Please send your requests to info@dirwa.com.
HOW LONG WILL DIRWA KEEP MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
For clients, partners, portal users and vendors, we will keep your personal information for six years after your contract with us comes to an end. For marketing contacts, we will keep your personal information for one year after the final marketing communication we send to you unless you ask DiRWA to delete it beforehand.
HOW CAN I MAKE A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE USE OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?
If you wish to submit a complaint about how we use your personal data, send the details of your complaint, including the personal information to which it refers, to info@dirwa.com. We will investigate your complaint and respond to you as soon as possible, in no longer than one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact your local personal data privacy authority.
“NO SPAM” POLICY
We maintain a strict “no spam” policy, which means that we do not have the intent to sell, lease or otherwise provide your personal information to a third party without your consent, except as established in this policy and unless we are legally bound to disclose information.
MANDATORY DISCLOSURE: It is possible that DiRWA may be asked to disclose personal information in response to legal requests from public authorities, including to satisfy national security or legal compliance requirements.
ARBITRATION: In the case of residual claims that have not been fully or partially resolved by other means, it is possible that you may turn to a binding arbitration before the Privacy Shield Panel as detailed in the Principles.
